RFP Update and current status All but 1 programs have been awarded (awaiting contracts that will be dated 1/1/2016) All contracts are from 1/1/2016 – 9/30/2017 (21 months). Contracts can be amended Last RFP (Douglas/Klamath/Lake) will be re-issued this month, and to contract by April 1, 2016.

HFA Reaccreditation – 2017 Reaccreditation Kick-Off Webinar - January 20th (next week) Will review: Reaccreditation process (what to expect) The Pre-loaded SSA thumb-drive for each program The SSA prep-form that lays out for programs what fidelity evidence needs to be put in which folders. Support webinars most month of 2016 PM Conference – April 2016 HFA Peer Reviewer Training for all PMs – June 2016

25% Match Requirement All programs have an increased match requirement because their allocation increased. Some programs are worried that they will not be able to meet this match requirement, and agency Boards have been reluctant to agree. Discussion: HFO Coordinator is proposing to change policy in PPPM that defines what funds can and cannot be used as Match.

Cash Match Can be used as Local Match Cannot be Used as Local Match Cash donations from local businesses, schools, school district(s), or service groups State or Federal funds received from the Early Learning Division such as state General Funds, Medicaid Administrative Claiming, or Family Preservation and Support Private cash donations County General Funds General or Federal funds received from other State agencies such as DHS, OHA, Employment Division, Dept. of Justice, Third party payment of HFO staff who provide core services Grants from foundations Funds received that do little to contribute to sustainability of the program or do not build community support Grants and/or contributions from local faith organizations Federal grants received directly by the local program for the purpose of delivering HFO core services
