5. How it had begun ….
The Company was founded in 1983 in Oststeinbek near Hamburg. Founder Rolf Siebert († 2010) attended the first steps of CIPP in Germany and is regarded as the pioneer in CIPP quality management.

10. Accreditation
Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkkS) is the national accreditation body for the Federal Republic of Germany with its head office in Berlin. It assesses, certifies and monitors the technical competence of laboratories, certification and inspection bodies as an independent authority. In this context DAkkS makes an important contribution to the quality assurance of products and services, supports consumer trust and enhances the competitiveness of German companies.

11. Accreditation Accreditation
The laboratory of Siebert + Knipschild has got the international approval by the ILAC. The International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation is an international cooperation of laboratory and inspection accreditation bodies. Governments, procurers and consumers can have confidence in the calibration and test results, inspection reports and certifications provided.
EU Notification
Siebert + Knipschild is nominated under EU law as testing laboratory for plastic products in compliance with EN EN ISO/IEC The notification is valid for prefabricated sewer pipes outside of buildings.
