The Pattern In today’s torah portion, I’m going to take you through a pattern (Tavnit) found in each of the places that our Elohim chooses to dwell – from the Tabernacle to the Temple built by Solomon, to the Temple that our Elohim has built in our hearts, to the final Temple mentioned in the Book of Ezekiel. In each of these places of worship we can find many common denominators. In this portion there are four that we will cover today: The Sabbath The Craftsman The Materials The Labor
3
The Pattern Let’s begin by jumping ahead to next week portion, and find our purpose for building the Tabernacle: Exodus 40: 1 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “On the first day of the first month you shall erect the tabernacle of the tent of meeting……34 Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. 35 And Moses was not able to enter the tent of meeting because the cloud settled on it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. 36 Throughout all their journeys, whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the people of Israel would set out. First above all, to build the Tabernacle is a direct commandment by YHVH to Israel, second and even more important, it’s being built for the very presence of YHVH to be among his people.
4
The Pattern Remember last week, Moses reaction when the thought of YHVH’s presence might not go with him and the people: Exodus: 33:1 The Lord said to Moses, “Depart; go up from here, you and the people whom you have brought up out of the land of Egypt, to the land of which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, ‘To your offspring I will give it.’…Go up to a land flowing with milk and honey; but I will not go up among you, lest I consume you on the way, for you are a stiff-necked people.” 14 And he said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” 15 And he said to him, “If your presence will not go with me, do not bring us up from here. 16 For how shall it be known that I have found favor in your sight, I and your people? Is it not in your going with us, so that we are distinct, I and your people, from every other people on the face of the earth?”
5
The Pattern The fact that YHVH was going to move in the center of His people, and the nations would be able to witness with their own spies the very presence moving in front of the nation. When they saw the ark – they would know the one who divided the waters of the Red Sea and destroyed the Egyptians was riding on the mobile throne that every nation would be able to testify. Even if you can’t see it, do not be surprised when even the atheist has fear struck into his heart by the power and might of our Elohim.

The Tabernacle
7
The Tabernacle 1. The Tabernacle and the Sabbath:
Exodus 35:1 Moses assembled all the congregation of the people of Israel and said to them, “These are the things that YHVH has commanded you to do. 2 Six days work shall be done, but on the seventh day you shall have a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on it shall be put to death. 3 You shall kindle no fire in all your dwelling places on the Sabbath day.” Before we even we put one pole into place, establishing the Tabernacle as Elohim’s rest is significant – let’s take a look at the following statement:
8
The Tabernacle Genesis 2: 1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2 And on the seventh day God finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done. 3 So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation. From the language found in both Genesis 2 and Exodus 35, it’s very clear that YHVH had finished with his Macro Temple – and the concept of rest is not to lay down or sleep – but to begin the business of running a kingdom. Yah’s Rest – is the initiation of Kingdom Rule.
9
The Tabernacle The first aspect has to do with work, or us to abstain from our personal endeavors, but the next has to do with lighting a fire. Now there are many aspects of this – part of this has to do with the cooking in the homes. A work that in many cases is being done by the mother, or wife in the household. So by abstaining from the things she is doing is just as important as the black smith, or gold smith, or any other tradesman kindling fire for his work. Years later, the Sanhedrin ruled in the Halacha, that a candle must be lit before sunset on ‘Erev Shabbat’ so the family could function before they finally went to sleep.
10
The Tabernacle 2. The Tabernacle and the Craftsman:
The two craftsman are identified by name as well as their lineage. Until I begin to see a pattern develop, I didn’t realize how YHVH would sanction two tribes to be the craftsman of the Mikdash (sanctuary) at every level from Tabernacle to The Third Temple: Exodus 35: 30 Then Moses said to the people of Israel, “See, the Lord has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah; 31 and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, with intelligence, with knowledge, and with all craftsmanship, 32 to devise artistic designs, to work in gold and silver and bronze, 33 in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, for work in every skilled craft. 34 And he has inspired him to teach, both him and Oholiab the son of Ahisamach of the tribe of Dan. 35 He has filled them with skill to do every sort of work done by an engraver or by a designer or by an embroiderer in blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, or by a weaver—by any sort of workman or skilled designer.
11
The Tabernacle Bezalel – means - to be in Elohim’s shadow
His "wisdom" (hokhmah) came from God. The New Jewish Publication Society version reads Exodus 31:3 as, "I have endowed him with a divine spirit of skill, ability, and knowledge in every kind of craft." Bezalel was endowed or filled with the divine spirit or God's Spirit (ruach elohim). He was saturated with creative skill, like his Creator. "Bezalel"—in the shadow of God—is an emblematic way of describing someone who is enshrouded with the divine spirit. God's Shadow is his Spirit. Uri means – God is my light or to shine Hur means – liberty, whiteness or whole Judah or Yehudah means – I will praise Yehovah I will praise Yehovah, for He has given me liberty, through His light (Messiah), and given me the gift of His Holy Spirit or (Ruach Hakodesh)
12
The Tabernacle The very nature of YHVH is to create – when someone is given a gift from the Holy Spirit or Ruach Hakodesh – Not only are we created in His image, but He is imparting in you His very nature. We should all desire that the gifts of the Holy Spirit be imparted in us. Imagine the very nature of our Elohim, implanted deep inside of you: Exodus 36:1 “Bezalel and Oholiab and every craftsman in whom YHVH has put skill and intelligence to know how to do any work in the construction of the sanctuary (Mikdash) shall work in accordance with all that the Lord has commanded.” 2 And Moses called Bezalel and Oholiab and every craftsman in whose mind the Lord had put skill, everyone whose heart stirred him up to come to do the work. So before the Labor began – YHVH was stirring up individuals from all over the Kingdom to become unique craftsman in this awesome project.
13
The Tabernacle Proverbs 8: 22 “The Lord possessed me at the beginning of His way, Before His works of old. 23 I have been established from everlasting, From the beginning, before there was ever an earth. 24 When there were no depths I was brought forth, When there were no fountains abounding with water. (Before the creation and the establishing of the Macro Temple) 29 When He assigned to the sea its limit, So that the waters would not transgress His command, When He marked out the foundations of the earth, 30 Then I was beside Him as a master craftsman;[b] And I was daily His delight, Rejoicing always before Him, 31 Rejoicing in His inhabited world, And my delight was with the sons of men. - This is amazing – our Messiah was the Master Craftsman carrying out the orders of the Father, as they laid out the Macro Temple.
14
The Tabernacle and the Materials
3. The Materials of the Tabernacle: Exodus 31: 4 …..to devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze, 5 in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, to work in every craft…. 7 the tent of meeting, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy seat that is on it, and all the furnishings of the tent, 8 the table and its utensils, and the pure lampstand with all its utensils, and the altar of incense, 9 and the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, and the basin and its stand, 10 and the finely worked garments, [5] the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons, for their service as priests, 11 and the anointing oil and the fragrant incense for the Holy Place. According to all that I have commanded you, they shall do.” The materials used were given to Moses in explicit details. Some of the items, were so rare, that as long as there wasn’t any temple in the land, the creatures just disappeared until the time of the end.
15
The Tabernacle and the Materials
Just to get an idea, each item represented something very specific besides it’s intended use…here are some examples: 'Gold' (Diety) According to Exodus 38 they gave 2,800 lbs. of gold. Pure Gold throughout the scriptures speaks of divinity, that which cannot be reproduced by man. Gold is made by God and comes down from God. Gold speaks of the deity of Messiah Yeshua. We find the Ark of the Covenant, the Altar of Incense, the Table of Showbread, the Menorah, and many of the utensils used inside the Tent of Meeting composed of pure gold, or overlaying the incorruptible acacia wood being used to frame out these items.
16
The Tabernacle and the Materials
'Silver' (Redemption) Silver came to 9,600 lbs. Throughout the Scriptures, silver figuratively speaks of redemption. It was always used as redemption money: Ex 30:16 "And you shall take the redemption money of the children of Israel, and shall appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of meeting, that it may be a memorial for the children of Israel before the LORD, to make atonement for yourselves." The tabernacle stood upon sockets of silver. Both Joseph and Yeshua were sold for silver. Judas was paid off in silver as the Scriptures said. Silver is redemption money. Silver is symbolic of the redemption that comes through Yeshua our Messiah, and Him alone. Notice also that there is no silver mentioned in heaven. The people will already have been redeemed. Mark 10:45 "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."
17
The Tabernacle and the Materials
'Bronze' (Judgment) A total of 6,700 lbs. of bronze was given for use in those places where exceptional strength and heat resistance was important. Bronze has a melting point of 1,985 degrees. It was important in the altar where intense heat was present. They brought bronze not brass. Brass comes from a mixture of copper and tin where bronze comes from copper and zinc. Bronze represents judgment. When Moses raised the bronze serpent it … Numbers 21:9 So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.
18
The Tabernacle and the Materials
'Fine Linen' (Purity) The linen was most interesting. Made from Egyptian flax, it was finely woven, brilliantly white, and bore a special name, "byssus". This material was used for garments for royalty and persons of rank and has been found in the tombs of the Pharaohs. Linen in one tomb was found to have 152 threads per inch in the warp and 72 threads per inch in the woof. White linen always speaks of purity and righteousness: Rev 15:6 And out of the temple came the seven angels having the seven plagues, clothed in pure bright linen, and having their chests girded with golden bands. Rev 3:5 "He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels." Rev 19:14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. The fine-twined, white linen speaks of righteousness and typifies Yeshua, the Son of Man, spotless, pure, and sinless.
19
The Tabernacle and the Materials
Exodus 36: 35 He made the veil of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen; with cherubim skillfully worked into it he made it. 36 And for it he made four pillars of acacia and overlaid them with gold. Their hooks were of gold, and he cast for them four bases of silver. 37 He also made a screen for the entrance of the tent, of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, embroidered with needlework, 38 and its five pillars with their hooks. He overlaid their capitals, and their fillets were of gold, but their five bases were of bronze. Below are some pictures from the Temple Institute to get an idea of how this was done:

Over 600 meters of thread made of pure gold has been prepared for the weaving of the High Priest's breastplate. Each string in the garment is composed of 28 threads: 6 of TECHELET, 6 of ARGAMAN, 6 of TOLA'AT SHANI, 6 of white twisted linen, and 4 of PURE GOLD.
23
Tabernacle and it’s Purpose
9 And he made the court (Azarah). For the south side the hangings of the court were of fine twined linen, a hundred cubits; 10 their twenty pillars and their twenty bases were of bronze, but the hooks of the pillars and their fillets were of silver. 11 And for the north side there were hangings of a hundred cubits, their twenty pillars, their twenty bases were of bronze, but the hooks of the pillars and their fillets were of silver. 12 And for the west side were hangings of fifty cubits, their ten pillars, and their ten bases; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets were of silver. 13 And for the front to the east, fifty cubits. Unlike the Temple that was a perfect square the Tabernacle was made to be more mobile at 100 x 50 cubits.
24
The Tabernacle and the Labor
4. Labor to construct the Tabernacle: The Tabernacle and its courtyard were constructed according to a pattern or Tavnit set by God. (Exodus 28:8, 9) We study the Tabernacle to understand God’s pattern of worship. – By understanding this pattern, we then can understand how this pattern applies to our daily lives… It was Israel’s spiritual center for 500 years, until Solomon’s Temple. Fifty chapters in the Bible discuss the Tabernacle. The Tabernacle shows how common people can have fellowship with a holy God (Kedushah or Holiness. This last aspect is the labor. You can have the greatest plan, and the perfect materials, and even great craftsman, but without the people volunteering their time, money and effort, it becomes so much more difficult. The congregation was set up so each one has a calling and a specialization.
25
The Tabernacle and the Labor
4. Contributions of labor: Exodus 35: 4 Moses said to all the congregation of the people of Israel, “This is the thing that the Lord has commanded. 5 Take from among you a contribution to the Lord. Whoever is of a generous heart, let him bring the Lord's contribution: …. 20 Then all the congregation of the people of Israel departed from the presence of Moses. 21 And they came, everyone whose heart stirred him, and everyone whose spirit moved him, and brought the Lord's contribution to be used for the tent of meeting, and for all its service, and for the holy garments. Talented with special skills: Exodus 35: 10 “Let every skillful craftsman among you come and make all that the Lord has commanded:
26
The Tabernacle and the Labor
Even though women could not serve in the Tent of Meeting, their contribution was very significant. Until the sins of the son’s of Eli tarnished this, for over 500 years, not just Levites wives, were giving of their resources and time to the Tabernacle: 37:22 So they came, both men and women…. 25 And every skillful woman spun with her hands, and they all brought what they had spun in blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen. 26 All the women whose hearts stirred them to use their skill spun the goats' hair. …. 38:8 He made the basin of bronze and its stand of bronze, from the mirrors of the ministering women who ministered in the entrance of the tent of meeting. The labor was a complete contribution of the Congregation of Israel. The desire to please your creator was the driving force, behind this amazing project. So as we shift to the Temple, let’s see if we can see any patterns develop:
27
The Temple for our King
28
The Temple In each of these there is some common denominators in the Tabernacle and the Temple. The Sabbath The Craftsman The Materials The Labor As we search through the building of the Temple, a pattern begins to develop, a pattern that began with the original Temple in the Third Heaven, to the Garden of Eden…to our very lives today. The conventional dates of Solomon's reign are circa 970 to 931 BCE. This puts the date of its construction in the mid-10th century BCE. After a 400 year period in Gilgal, and Shiloh….David moves the Tabernacle to Jerusalem.
29
The Temple and the Sabbath
1. Keeping the commandments – Sabbath: 1 Kings 2: 1 When David's time to die drew near, he commanded Solomon his son, saying, 2 “I am about to go the way of all the earth. Be strong, and show yourself a man, 3 and keep the charge of the Lord your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his rules, and his testimonies, as it is written in the Torah of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn, 4 that the Lord may establish his word that he spoke concerning me, saying, ‘If your sons pay close attention to their way, to walk before me in faithfulness with all their heart and with all their soul, you shall not lack[a] a man on the throne of Israel.’ 2 Chronicles 2: 4 Behold, I am about to build a house for the name of the Lord my God and dedicate it to him for the burning of incense of sweet spices before him, and for the regular arrangement of the showbread, and for burnt offerings morning and evening, on the Sabbaths and the new moons and the appointed feasts of the Lord our God, as ordained forever for Israel.
30
The Temple and the Sabbath
From the outset, David gives a warning to Solomon to keep the Commandments of the Torah. This would ensure the longevity of the House of David. By this time, the nation had been keeping both the Sabbaths, and the High Sabbath’s for 500 years. Solomon knew the ways of YHVH, and he knew what was required, but in every generation, we must be told again. Honor the Covenant – remember that the Sabbath is the sign of the Covenant given at Mt. Sinai. David reminds Solomon of this Covenant, it’s purpose and the consequences of not keeping it. Keep in mind, because of the corruption in the Sixth, and First Century BCE, someone from the House of David was removed because they broke the sign of this Covenant – to Remember the Sabbath!
31
The Temple and the Craftsman
2. The Craftsmen for the Temple: 2 Chronicles 2: 3 Then Solomon sent to Hiram[a] king of Tyre, saying: As you have dealt with David my father, and sent him cedars to build himself a house to dwell in, so deal with me. 4 Behold, I am building a temple for the name of the Lord my God, to dedicate it to Him…7 Therefore send me at once a man skillful to work in gold and silver, in bronze and iron, in purple and crimson and blue, who has skill to engrave with the skillful men who are with me in Judah and Jerusalem, whom David my father provided. We find out later who this skillful man was: 2 Chronicles 2: 13 “Now I have sent a skilled man, who has understanding, Huram-abi, 14 the son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father was a man of Tyre. He is trained to work in gold, silver, bronze, iron, stone, and wood, and in purple, blue, and crimson fabrics and fine linen, and to do all sorts of engraving and execute any design that may be assigned him, with your craftsmen, the craftsmen of my lord, David your father. Here we have a pattern –Pattern or Tavnit develops – Judah and the sons of Dan as craftsman for the most High.
32
Temple and the Materials
3. The Temple and the Materials to build: 1 Chronicles 28: 11 Then David gave his son Solomon the plans for the vestibule, its houses, its treasuries, its upper chambers, its inner chambers, and the place of the mercy seat; 12 and the plans for all that he had by the Spirit, of the courts of the house of the Lord, of all the chambers all around, of the treasuries of the house of God, and of the treasuries for the dedicated things;…. 14 He gave gold by weight for things of gold, for all articles used in every kind of service; also silver for all articles of silver by weight, for all articles used in every kind of service; 15 the weight for the lampstands of gold, and their lamps of gold, by weight for each lampstand and its lamps; for the lampstands of silver by weight, for the lampstand and its lamps, according to the use of each lampstand
33
Temple and the Materials
. 16 And by weight he gave gold for the tables of the showbread, for each table, and silver for the tables of silver; 17 also pure gold for the forks, the basins, the pitchers of pure gold, and the golden bowls—he gave gold by weight for every bowl; and for the silver bowls, silver by weight for every bowl; 18 and refined gold by weight for the altar of incense, and for the construction of the chariot, that is, the gold cherubim that spread their wings and overshadowed the ark of the covenant of the Lord. Then once all the materials are assembled by David in Jerusalem, there remained many things yet to be done, and this was picked up by Solomon: Other than the Ark of the Covenant, all the items that were built were brand new. The building project took nearly 7 years, where the Tabernacle took approximately 7 months to complete.
34
The Temple and the Labor
4. The Labor to build YHVH house: Labor force to build the House of our Elohim was immense. Remember this was considered one of the great wonders of the world. From then on, throughout the ANE, all Temples began to be modeled after YHVH Temple. 1 Chronicles 22: 2 David commanded to gather together the resident aliens who were in the land of Israel, and he set stonecutters to prepare dressed stones for building the house of God. 3 David also provided great quantities of iron for nails for the doors of the gates and for clamps, as well as bronze in quantities beyond weighing, 4 and cedar timbers without number, for the Sidonians and Tyrians brought great quantities of cedar to David. 5 For David said, “Solomon my son is young and inexperienced, and the house that is to be built for the Lord must be exceedingly magnificent, of fame and glory throughout all lands. I will therefore make preparation for it.” So David provided materials in great quantity before his death. 2 Chronicles 2: 1 Now Solomon purposed to build a temple for the name of the Lord, and a royal palace for himself. 2 And Solomon assigned 70,000 men to bear burdens and 80,000 to quarry in the hill country, and 3,600 to oversee them. (This was the second wave or resident aliens assigned to the building project)
35
Pattern over the Ages So we saw in the Tabernacle, and the Temple how craftsman, materials and a labor force was assembled. How the most interesting of patterns developed where Dan and Judah were set aside to be the master craftsman. Every detail is built according to a written plan given to Moses, and then later David. So is this pattern repeated in the next Temple – our lives. As we conclude today, let’s take a look at how we are to be Yah’s Temple:
36
Temple of YHVH Within 1 Corinthians 6: 19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, 20 for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. A pattern is developed in Corinth, a Imperial Roman City, that was full of Temples to false gods. Within the very body of Messiah they were bringing lawsuits against one another, instead of settling thing according to the pattern established after the Sanhedrin. Sexual immorality was rampant in Corinth, and this was the center of Temple prostitutes. Apostle Paul lays out a premise that the pattern we have seen develop in the Tabernacle, and the Temple, now must be repeated in our lives:
37
Keeping the Commandments
If we are to keep the commandments of Elohim, that would include the Sabbath by implication. Let’s take a quick look at the words of Apostle Paul. Acts 17: 24 The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man,…27 that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, Paul is laying the groundwork that our Creator seeks to live in us, as opposed to a building – for He desires an intimate relationship, a pattern established at the Tabernacle.
38
Keeping the Commandments
Now before the very Sanhedrin, that was part of the Tavnit or Pattern laid out in the Torah. A building that operated on the very Temple mount, Paul says the following: Acts 24: 14 But this I confess to you, that according to the Way, which they call a sect, I worship the God of our fathers, believing everything laid down by the Torah and written in the Prophets, To include the very Sabbath, and keeping of the High Sabbaths. In fact Paul had come to the Temple, and according to the Law of purification had done a Mikvah, and was presenting offerings that would be placed on the Altar. We as individuals are limited in the sense by not having a physical Temple, but we still can Honor the Sabbath, bring Thanksgiving offerings and draw near to the Father in our very lives.
39
The Craftsman 2. The Craftsmen who build the Kingdom:
What did Bezalel and Oholiab, and the other craftsmen have that was unique to them – the presence of the Ruach Hakodesh in their lives. There gifts were given to them by the Spirit of Elohim. So to as craftsmen in the Kingdom of YHVH, we are given gifts through the Holy Spirit: 1 Corinthians 12:1 Now concerning[a] spiritual gifts,[b] brothers,[c] I do not want you to be uninformed. 2 You know that when you were pagans you were led astray to mute idols, however you were led…. 4 Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; 5 and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; 6 and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone.
40
The Craftsman 7 To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. 8 For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills. Do not think that the gifts that was given Bezalel, is any different that the one given to the Teacher, or the one who is working of Miracles. Non of this can be done on our own – with out His Ruach Hakodesh.
41
The Materials 3. The Materials in the building of His Kingdom are tied to the Labor force. The Labor force must be working as one, in order to build His Kingdom: 1 Corinthians 12: 12 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves[d] or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit. 18 But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose. 19 If all were a single member, where would the body be? 20 As it is, there are many parts,[e] yet one body. We are the Gold, the silver, the bronze, the fine linen, all of this is woven together to effectively bring Torah to the nations. However when it comes to the Labor Force there is just one challenge:
42
The Laborers 4. The Laborers in the Kingdom:
Matthew 9: 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; 38 therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” Luke 10: 1 After this the Lord appointed seventy-two[a] others and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to go. 2 And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest….. 17 The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!” 18 And he said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. 20 Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
43
Purpose of the Tavnit (Blueprint)
As we have seen, when we are given a pattern, in the physical, it always coincides in the spiritual. The Tabernacle and later the Temple were preparing us for the following: John 4: 22 You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. 24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”
