27 If Sarah leaves her house at 7 O’Clock in the morning, and it takes her 2 hours to get to grandmas house, what time will she get there? 2 Hours

1 O’clock in the Afternoon and time for lunch. Sarah and Grandma have a salad for lunch and it takes them one hour to eat it, what time is it now? One Hour

Lets all look at our clocks. We will be looking at time to the half hour today. There is two half hours in an hour.

36 L.O: To tell time to the half hour.
We call this half past because the big hand has gone half way round and the little hand is gone halfway between the two hours. Half past means the same as 30 minutes past.

37 L.O: To tell time to the half hour.
Lets look on the abacus clock and our own clocks. Show me these times on your clock. Half past 10 Half past 4 Half past 6 Half past 9
