3. B Create a gap between the door and jamb by driving the adz or fork end of the Halligan tool between the door and frame 6 inches above or below the lock.

4. C On tight doors, the gap may be started with the fork end.

5. D If door is tight, work tool up and down to open up gap.

6. E Set the tool by driving the adz or fork
end past the door around the doorstop.
