& Halifax/Indian River Cleanup

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO PARTICPATED!!!
Each year, on the third Saturday in September, volunteers from around the world join together to clean beaches, rivers and other waterways. This year, 1,082 volunteers cleaned 4,545 pounds of trash in Volusia County. Volunteers worked together in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma to document every piece of trash they found using standardized trash tally data cards. This information is used by the Ocean Conservancy to produce the world’s only state-by-state, country-by-country Marine Debris Index. THANK YOU TO ALL WHO PARTICPATED!!!
