1 Senior English 2/25/13 Do you feel you would get a fair trial? If you had more money would it help you? Did you hear about the guy who lost his left arm in a car crash? Mundungus – Very old word for smelling like garbage or dung. Often used to refer to bad smelling tobacco. Goals – Begin week 23 vocabulary study. A bit more detail on constructing an argument. Work toward Wednesday deadline. Homework – Begin study of Week 23 vocabulary words. He’s all right now.

2 Senior English 2/26/13 Do you think citizen participation is important to the rule of law? Why or why not? How do crazy people find their way in the forest? Pox and piles – curse from the middle ages. Goals –Examine how the rubric measures your argument. Make revisions to create your best chance for success. Homework – Write a brief paragraph about your beliefs about the responsibilities a citizen has to his or her society? They take the psycho path.

Goals – Work on the force of your argument and eloquence of project. Submit the final draft with the evaluation form by the end of the day. Homework – none. He says: Dad, I want a new car.

What do you call Santa’s Helpers? Umslopogus – another word that means nothing but should be used instead of swearing. Goals – Complete vocabulary #23, Hamlet. Homework – none. Subordinate clauses.
