Our members want a wider focus – on the tech and on what people do with it

Our Vision Was: “The Internet, open and uncapturable”
Is: “A better world through a better Internet”

Our Mission Was: “To protect and promote the Internet for New Zealand”
Is: “To promote the Internet’s benefits and uses, and protect its potential”

What it means day to day We have four broad areas of work:
Internet issues/policy Community funding Platforms and events (The .nz ccTLD)

In essence… The Internet is everywhere, so we have to be everywhere too It’s about people and technology Our work is broader but it matters more
