3. Purpose of the assessment survey
To Collect updated information on the status of implementation of the 2008 SNA in member States
To get an understanding of what remains to be done
Findings are to be shared with all SNA project stakeholders
To provide directions to stakeholders (international and regional organizations and development partners) on supports to countries when developing their work programmes

Questionnaire sent to all African countries, with questions regarding
The existence / status of development of an Action Plans. Specific questions where asked on
The status of endorsement by national authorities

Concrete works being conducted or planned. These concern:

18. Conclusion
The survey offered an understanding of the intention and organisation of countries for the adoption of 2008 SNA through rebasing
Partners assistance is required throughout the process. Although present this assistance is limited in regard to the needs
Taking in consideration countries’ planned activities when planning their interventions will enable partners to better target countries current needs
