WSJ says: “In this day and age, estate planning is a must. If you own any property, paid for or not, you need a Revocable Living Trust. Suze Orman says: “Regardless of how much you do or do not have, in most cases a Will is not enough. You will also need a Revocable Living Trust with an incapacity clause.”

11 DISCUSSION QUESTIONS –
As the God-appointed head of my household, what is my responsibility to provide for my family, even in death? (ex: Life insurance, Estate Planning) - 1 Timothy 5:8 Proverbs 13:22 says “a good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children.” What do you think is the benefit of leaving an inheritance to your children or your grandchildren? A good estate plan allows you to control the flow of distribution. Should you add any stipulations to those gifts and if so, why?

12 DISCUSSION QUESTIONS –
With this subject of Estate Planning, where does the concept of “Stewardship” come in to play? Would this sort of preparation fall under the category of good stewardship of the resources God has given you? Should you consider giving a portion of your estate to your church or favorite ministry? What message would giving to “God’s kingdom” send, when you pass to your children and grandchildren? What are the consequences of not planning?
