CoolBot Introduction June 1st, 2016

Company Background Kate and Ron Khosla started Huguenot Street Farm in New Paltz, NY in Like a lot of small farmers around the world, they needed a walk-in cooler, but it was too expensive Idea was to utilize an off-the-shelf air conditioner as the engine for a walk-in cooler Ron developed the CoolBot alongside a formally trained engineer Our Company was founded by Ron Khosla in 2006 Ron and his wife Kate started Huguenot Street Farm in New Paltz, NY in 1999 They needed a walk-in cooler for proper post harvest care, but couldn’t afford to spend $5,000 or more on a small walk-in cooler Ron’s idea was to utilize an off-the-shelf air conditioner as the engine for a walk-in cooler refrigeration system Ron realized that A/Cs are powerful and utilize proven and reliable technology This would replicate the traditional technology at a much lower price Ron developed the CoolBot alongside a friend who was a formally trained engineer

What is the CoolBot? The CoolBot is an electronic controller that enables customers to turn an insulated room into an affordable walk-in cooler using a CoolBot and an off- the-shelf A/C unit We help our customers save $1,000s (and potentially more in the developing world) vs. the traditional technology These coolers range from 4’ x 4’ on the small end to 20’ x 40’ on the large end The CoolBot is a patented electronic controller that enables customers to turn any insulated room into an affordable walk-in cooler using a CoolBot and an off-the-shelf A/C unit It’s important to note that you do need a room insulated to R25 to utilize a CoolBot We help our customers save $1,000s (and potentially more in the developing world) vs. the traditional technology

What is the CoolBot’s Value Proposition?
We were awarded the Feed the Future Partnering for Innovation grant in Honduras, so I will frame this for Honduras As many of you know, up to 50% of Agricultural production in Honduras and around the world be lost due to lack of post harvest care Cold storage has been shown to be a highly effective tool to reduce post harvest losses, but is underpenetrated in the developing world Developing countries have 90% less cold storage capacity (per capita) vs. developed countries In Honduras and around the world, a major hurdle to increased penetration of cold storage is cost Agriculture is a huge part of the Honduran economy – makes up 14% of GDP and 39% of the labor force GDP per capita in Honduras is ~$5,000, so cold storage is generally too expensive for individual smallholders Cooperatives and exporters in Honduras who source fruits and vegetables from smallholder farmers report paying $30,000 for a refrigerated cold storage room Only well capitalized corporations and select exporters can afford this CoolBot systems cost ~80% less than traditional systems An 1,120 cubic foot (8’ x 12’ x 8’) cold storage room can be built in Honduras for ~$4,000 by utilizing the CoolBot This is obviously a huge savings vs. $30,000 CoolBot systems utilize 40% less electricity Higher prices for crops for aggregators or farmers – 100% ROI for Bangladeshi farmer Reduced post harvest losses

Economics of a CoolBot-Driven Cooler in Honduras (8’ x 12’ x 8’)
18K BTU Window A/C: $480 Insulated Room: $3,215 CoolBot: $315 As you can see, most of the cost is actually for the insulated room Affordable Cooler: $4,010

Who Are We Targeting In Honduras?
Aggregators (Centros de Acopios) There are ~300 centros de acopios Honduras, and each centro do acopio works with 70 to 150 smallholder farmers Seed Distributors Since individual smallholder farmers in Honduras can’t afford a ~$4,000 system, we are targeting aggregators (centros de acopios) who source fruits and vegetables from a multitude of smallholder farmers We estimate that there are ~300 centros de acopios Honduras, and each centro do acopio works with 70 to 150 smallholder farmers Additionally, we are talking to a seed distributor about using the CoolBot for its regional seed coolers They need to have their seed coolers at a temperature of 5°C- 10°C, which is perfect for the CoolBot
7
Expansion Plans Since our founding in 2006, we have sold over 30,000 CoolBots 97% of our sales are to the U.S. and Canada 3% of our sales are to 58 other countries Honduras is a great test case for us, and we are actively seeking high quality distribution partners around the world, especially in Central and South America We have a scalable manufacturing process in place, and we are open to bringing on investors who can aid us in building out our international distribution network
