2. Demographics
The song I have chosen is very recent as therefore would appear to a younger audience. For this reason I have chosen to target my music video towards year olds of both sex, as it’s difficult to justify a difference in male and female songs. The song is fairly mainstream and so my teenage, young adult audience will need to like music in the charts and other current popular songs.

3. Psychographics
 The main psychographics of my audience will be that they are fans of The Script, as the song I have chosen is performed by them, and they also would like music genres such as pop and soft rock. However they won’t be fans of indie genres or classical music as it wouldn’t appeal to them.

4. Life Style
My audience would have a busy life style as they are around the age of doing GCSE’s and A-Levels as well as starting university and therefore they will need something to help relax them and escape their real life for a few minutes and forget their problems, which is why they would watch my music video. Because of the age of my target audience they will be into social networking such as Facebook and Twitter, and so they will use word of mouth to spread and promote my music video and get more people of the same target audience wanting to watch it but also get them involved and interacting together.

5. Geo-Graphics
The geo-graphics of my audience isn’t too important but they predominantly be living in built up areas such as big towns and cities all other the UK, there is no regional identity for my music video as there will be minimal stereotypes.

6. Uses and Gratifications
The main reason for the audience watching my music video would be entertainment, to give them a brief moment not to worry about anything and just enjoy themselves. Another reason they may watch my video is that the audience could relate to it as the song has a many deep meaning that the viewer will interpret differently depends on their life style and background.
