1. Lesson #2 Complete Subjects & Complete Predicates

2. All sentences have two parts: the subject and the predicate.

3. The SUBJECT tells who or what the sentence is about
The SUBJECT tells who or what the sentence is about. (“WHO” or “WHAT”) The PREDICATE tells something about the subject. (“DOES” OR “IS”)

4. EXAMPLES:. Complete subject. Complete Predicate. The cat

5. Draw a vertical line between the complete subject and the complete predicate.
