-Learning how to make a business plan and executing it with our partners
-Reviewing shapes, money, halves, fractions, time, word problems
-Speed drills
-Separating complete subject from complete predicate in a sentence

Hey there from the beehive!
I hope to see you all tonight at open house! There are fun things in store for you and your kiddos so make sure you pop by for a few minutes.  There will be a raffle you will want to enter, and a parent/student game! Market Day was super fun to finish up and present this week; the kids had a blast creating their products and I know they were proud of their “companies!” I appreciate any parents that sent in supplies for our honeybees to use; thank you SO much!! I hope that y’all have a restful weekend and enjoy this BEE-autiful weather! 

Additional Information
-The “homework packet” is coming home today. Each Thursday you will receive a packet of information as well as homework in your child’s weekly folder.
-We’ve been doing great with our Reading Buddies! Every other Thursday, we buzz on over to K5 and spend 30 minutes reading with selected partners. It’s tons of fun and the kids have been loving taking on that leadership role!! 
-We will be having Christmas play practice every single Wednesday and Friday until November 30th.
-The Fall Carnival is coming up and donations to our booth would be greatly appreciated!  Hair spray paint, face paint and materials, face paint stencils, hair accessories (clips, barrettes, hair ties)

Reminders:
-Please send your child’s folder to school every day with the behavior chart signed, including Fridays. Homework checklist should be signed as well and turned in the following week. Items to put in folder: notes for Mrs. B, permission slips, money due, library books that need to be returned to the library or Mrs. B’s library, and of course homework.
-If your child has a book out from Mrs. B, they can have them out for two weeks. After two weeks, Mrs. B will come buzzin’ for them! 
-Library was on Tuesday, with our wonderful librarian, Netta! Make sure you’re staying on top of your BA points!

Don’t forget to have your child review Phonics Charts and read for 15 minutes every day!
Save the cursive chart, Book Adventure password, Shurley English capitalization and punctuation rules and phonics charts all year for when your student is working on HW!
