1 BP 5 Work Plan Meeting

2 What is it WebEx meeting that took place between MDH, PHPC, RHPC’s
Discuss where the region is on our planning and what items need to be met in BP5

3 The Good News No new regional plans are expected
Regional plans will be reviewed during BP5 by the various committees to update Continuity of Operations (COOP) is the lone Facility-level plan needing completed Region will plan on reimbursing all facilities that write their COOP Plans HVA’s will be updated by all coalition members and reimbursed

4 The Challenging News Uncertainty of HPP on July 1, 2017
If HPP continues, will we know all the capabilities and requirements in BP5? SW hopes to know so we can start merging our BP5 work into the next grant cycle

5 The Opportunities Since we have little money to expense out on planning efforts, we will have more opportunities to present education/training/exercises RHPC’s, RPC, PHPC are planning to meet to gameplan strategies to work effectively together

6 HPP Wishlist (Active Shooter)
I am hoping to bring an active shooter training to at minimum, one coalition facility in each county during BP5. -EM’s in most of our region have Fatality Management work during our BP5, so we will look to try and kick off their work with this if they want -Opportunity for LPH and BH to tie into this activity -Opportunity for Law Enforcement, EMS, etc to get a better understanding of the healthcare facilities in their response areas

7 HPP Wishlist (Operational Exercise)
Each year we need to do an operational-level exercise, either functional or full scale During BP5, we will look to do an exercise that connects Crisis Standards of Care, Burn Surge, and COOP/Recovery

8 HPP Wishlist (Coalition Wants)
If there is something your facility is interested in that would make sense for us to try and do as a region, please let me know by Friday, April 1. If your facility is interested in First Receiver, HazMat Awareness, or the ICS Training we’re having Dan Dahl do this year, please let me know so we can budget the appropriate amount of courses

9 Ebola Work Regional Ebola Grant Work includes;
Donning and Doffing training (8 hours) PPE/Cache item purchase based off of current survey and known regional needs May 25-26, 2016 exercise at Jackpot Junction
