1 The Bermuda Triangle

2 What is the Bermuda triangle?
The Bermuda triangle is a region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean approximately 500,000-square-mile located off the coast of Florida, where ships, planes, and people have disappeared mysteriously. The Bermuda triangle is made up with the tip of Miami (Florida), San Juan (Puerto Rico) and the island of Bermuda. The myth started from Christopher Columbus’ travels as he reported unusual compass activity while traveling through the triange en route to the New World. SO IS IT REAL?!?

3 Claims about the triangle
The disappearances were first blamed on aliens Unknown and mysterious forces The influence of the lost city of Atlantis Vortices(plural of vertex which means a region within a fluid where the flow is mostly a spinning motion)  that suck objects into other dimensions Other whimsical ideas Some ideas based on science Number of islands in the Caribbean creates shallow waters that can be treacherous for ship navigation Causes the compass to point “true” north, as opposed to “magnetic north”

4 Facts about the triangle
IT IS NOT REAL! ITS JUST A MYTH!!! U.S Navy and U.S Coast Guard contend that there are no supernatural explanations for disasters at the Bermuda. They also mentioned that no official maps exists that delineate the boundaries of the Bermuda Triangle. The U.S Board of Geographic Names does not recognize the Bermuda Triangle as a official name. It also does not maintain an official file on the area. There is no evidence that the disappearances occur with any greater frequency in the triangle than any other well-traveled areas of the ocean. The area is famous for rough waves and storms, and skeptics blame any disappearances on extreme ocean depths and the effects of the Gulf Stream, which can combine to quickly erase all evidence of plane crashes and shipwrecks such as Flight 19 disappearance.

5 CONCLUSION In conclusion, The Bermuda Triangle is just a myth.
It has not been proved yet regardless of the theories. I It was mostly blamed on the weather conditions and the conditions of that area.
