7. antes de Before if a verb is used after ‘antes de,’ keep it infinitive
Leo antes de dormir.-I read before going to sleep.

8. debajo de* Under / underneath
Los regalos están debajo del árbol.-The presents are under the tree.

9. cerca de*
Near, close to
El mono está cerca del gato.-The monkey is near the cat.

10. delante de*/enfrente de
In front of
La familia está delante de/enfrente de la televisión.

11. después de
After
if a verb is used after ‘después de,’ keep it infinitive
Comemos después de ejercitar.-We are eating after exercising.

13. encima de*
On top of
El gato está encima de la casa.-The cat is on top of the house.

Far from
La isla está lejos de la playa.-The island is far from the beach.
