The messaging is about "Cognos BI for the Mobile Workforce" - meaning the goal is to not just talk about the native iPad release for RP1 but all of the great mobile capabilities that are another great way to consume BI. We have our BB, Symbian and WIndows Mobile support we have had for 6 years - at the beginning of this year we added RIM PlayBook and Android support and we are now bringing to market our native iPad release with Active Report capabilities which cannot only be used off line on the iPad but can also be used offline for the mobile worker who is just taking their laptop down the hall into a meeting. The message describes a complete picture of online and offline capabilities that support the leading market devices (smartphoines and tablets) as well as leading operating systems along with those that are still using a laptop but need to have the most recent information at their fingertips.
