1. God’s Compassion for each one of us

2. There is a wonderful verse in Romans 8 about God’s love for us.
“Yes, I am sure that nothing can separate us from the love God has for us. Not death, not life, not angels, not ruling spirits, nothing now, nothing in the future, no powers, nothing above us, nothing below us, or anything else in the whole world will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

3. God’s love is called agape love, it means His love is unconditional and not affected by anything we do. Nothing can stop Him from loving us.

4. He loves us when we are happy and having fun.

5. God loves us when life is difficult and we feel sad.

6. He loves us when we are good.

7. He loves us when we do things wrong.
(Don’t try this at home!)

8. God loves us when we have lots of friends.

9. He loves us when it feels as if no one else does.

10. You might have heard the following poem in assembly on Monday.
When life is difficult and we are hurting and sad, it is then that it is most comforting to know God loves and cares for us.

12. Think quietly for a while.
How do you feel at the moment?
Is life easy or hard for you?
Reflect on the fact that however you feel and whatever is going on in your life right now, God loves you and cares for you.

13. Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for always loving us and caring for us especially when we feel sad and feel that life is difficult.
Amen

14. No matter what we do or how we feel God never stops loving us.
