Little Leaders At Glasgow Preschool Academy, we are looking forward to when our littlest Scotties go to Kindergarten. South Green Elementary and Highland Elementary are both Leader in Me schools, so we are beginning to teach our preschoolers about the traits of leadership that they will need in elementary school. In preschool, this week, we are learning to be proactive. This means we are talking about having a “can do” attitude, making good choices, and doing the right things without being asked. We are learning a little song to help remember how to be proactive: I’m Proactive (to the tune of Are You Sleeping, Brother John) I’m Proactive, Making good choices, I’m in charge of me, Everyday, Everyday. 2017 Angel Tree Applications September 25 – 27, 2017 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Mary Wood Weldon Library, lower level meeting room Please bring the following: last month’s SNAP benefits document or last month’s proof of income social security cards for everyone in household government issued photo Identification ***If you are not sure of your child’s sizes, please measure each child’s chest, waist, hips, & waist to foot length in inches with a tape measure.
