slide 2 of 3 Policy on Intellectual Property (AS /FPPC) Main issues: How can the policy best promote technological and pedagogical innovation and incentivize both University and faculty? How will this policy affect how classes are assigned in the future, particularly among the tenure-line faculty, among lecturer faculty, and between those two groups? Who should own IP created by groups of faculty, IP created by groups including students, and IP created for CCPE? Who should benefit from the commercialization of IP? Should there be an IP committee, and what would be the charge of that committee?
