A full diagnostic followup in a rare case of myxoid liposarcoma

Clinical data 47 Y/O Gradually growing mass in the left gluteal region and uper back thigh Pain Difficulties while performing physical activities A history of trauma preceded symptoms

Ultrasound showed irregular, large hypoechoic lesion in the left gluteal region reaching uper back thigh, measuring up to 15 cm in diameter.

Liposarcoma has been suspected
Surgical treatment followed PHD analysis confirmed a myxoid type of liposarcoma

A combined treatment of chemo and radiotherapy followed during the next four months (28 fractions of radiotherapy combined with Doxorubicin)

Patient is feeling well and is able to perform physical activities as prior.
Untill today, additional three followup MRI-s were performed and none showed relapse of primary tumor.
