Facts It is from the musical ‘West Side Story’ 1958.
Leonard Bernstein wrote the music for the musical. Stephen Sondheim wrote the lyrics. Is a contemporary version of Romeo and Juliet. Something’s coming appears early on in the musical and is the first solo song. Bernstein was influenced by Jazz and bebop which can be heard in the music.
