84% of the fatalities occurred with the parachutist having at least one good parachute on his/her back 40% after the successful deployment of the main parachute 35% of fatalities might have been avoided by AAD use 94% of fatalities would appear to have been caused by human error 12 of the 92 Fatalities were First Jump Students

7 DISTRIBUTION OF REPORTS
Noticeable Trends Increased use of AAD Round Main Canopies being used less Big movement towards Tandem jumping. DISTRIBUTION OF REPORTS Report, along with 2001 AAD Report, has been sent by to all respondents and to all other countries for which we have addresses. Hard copies are now available for delegates.
