3. phasing overview
+ phase one - immediate - provide solutions which can be implemented in the near future to improve comfort levels for the pedestrian and the driver
+ phase two years - design a space that can be modified based on temporary desired uses which concentrate on the pedestrian
+phase three years - transform the site into a pedestrian only public space with considerations for significant urban densification

4. phase one resolutions + eliminate parallel parking on streets
+ ensure that pedestrian sidewalks and streets are separated by a ‘buffer zone’
+ addition of medians on major through-streets

6. phase two resolutions
+ temporarily block off inner streets to vehicles for pedestrian use only (weekends, special events)
+ initiate satellite parking system with public trolly
+ eliminate on site parking lots and replace with multi-functional public space

8. phase three resolutions
+eliminate and manipulate some buildings in order to create a central public square
+design a pedestrian walkway system
+add multi-use mid/high rise buildings on perimeter (including residential, parking, retail)
