What is it? PESSCL Physical Education School Sport Club Links

THE PESSCL STRATEGY Introduced in 2003
Specific Target: increase % of kids who spend a min. of 2 hrs. a week on ‘high quality’ PE and school sport. 75% by 2006 85% by 2008

THE PESSCL STRATEGY By 2010 kids aged 5 to 16 years would
be offered at least 4 hours of sport every week; 2 hours of ‘high quality’ PE at school curriculum Additional 2 hrs or more outside school, delivered by school, community and club providers.
