Project : Improvement in Effective Project Facilitation Support in AppsOne BU About the Project There was scope of improvement in AppsOne Project facilitation support. Scope: TS, CSD and AM Projects in Apps One BU, excluding QMS Light Projects Improvements rolled-out in AppsOne BU: Involvement with entire project team for awareness of QA processes. Introduction of Facilitation Tracker, Facilitation Ageing, RAG status for Facilitation deliverables and Weekly Facilitation Dashboard for more effective tracking. Intermediate facilitation status mails to be sent in interval of 15 days Potential issues being highlighted to Senior Management well in advance Pain Area identified Need of more support from most of the project for preparation of deliverables Schedule variance of Average 62 % in completion of Facilitation activity. Average of 5 mandatory deliverable incomplete even after completion of facilitation support. Need of more effective tracking of facilitation activities. Benefits: There has been significant improvement in the Time adherence to complete the facilitation support from an average of 71 days to 47 days. and improvement in the completed deliverables from 2 out of 7 to 5 out of 7. Saving of 192 effort hours on an average per facilitation. Implementation Approach & tools used Six sigma & Lean methodology Tools used: Histogram, Flow Chart, Brainstorming, Fish-Bone Analysis.
