Writing a recount of our trip to St Fagans using time connectives
Working in groups to plan our Enterprise week products
Designing posters for our products
Calculating profit and selling prices for our products
Practising our bat and ball skills.

Enjoying watching the Dress Rehearsals of the Year 2 and 4 Summer concerts.

Reminders
Last Day of Term Friday 21st July
Please send water bottles into school in addition to a lunchtime drink
PE days are Thursdays - kit needed for indoors and outside.
Please can you clearly label all clothing/lunchboxes/water bottles
Home reading books – please return all books and book bags to school. We will not be issuing any more books this term – all book bags will be passed to the new teachers.
Fruit snack is available for 20p per day or children may bring their own.
Follow our activities on
Move up Monday
Children will be spending Monday in their new classrooms with their new teachers Miss Cogbill and Mrs Burmingham. Please take children to their new classroom outdoor areas where teachers will be waiting to greet them. Children will need to be collected from the new class at 3:05pm.
Next week we are having an “Enterprise week” in school . All classes have been busy making and creating things to sell on a budget of £5 per group. The children have been supported to work out the cost of making their items and then the cost to sell and make a little profit. All children are invited to bring a maximum of £3.50 to school (in a named envelope) on Wednesday to buy items from the school market place, where each class will be selling their products.
Summer Disco – the end of term PTA disco is on
Thursday 20th July in the school hall from 5:15 – 6:15 pm.
Home Learning activities
This week we have been writing recounts using time connectives in our writing, (First, Then, After that, Next and Finally) Perhaps you could encourage your child to talk and write about something you do at the weekend, using these time connectives to sequence the events?
