Safety of gloves The safety of gloves is that it prevents you from catching skin diseases such as dermatitis. They also prevent your hands from being cut or scraped by any sharp plastic sticking out. (ect)… This is depending on the thickness of gloves. Some gloves are designed to be waterproof for a limited amount of time they protect your hands from chemical substances.

Different types of gloves
There is a vast variety of gloves you could choose for motor vehicle. You have latex very useful but also has its down falls this itself can cause dermatitis. Rigger gloves this is very good as it will do a oily job no problem the grip on the gloves is really good. Substance gloves this is used for as it says in the name they prevent different chemicals for a limited amount of time.

Size and comfort The size of the glove is very important, you don’t want to be doing a job and slip off tools or if you cant get grip of the part your trying to maintain. This could cause the job to be really slow and cause problems with the customer your handling. Now comfort of the glove is even more important especially if the job your working on is long, uncomfortable hands is what we don’t want such as sweaty hands because the job takes two hours and you haven't taken them off once you will
