Logistics All plenaries will take place here in the Merrison seminar room. Coffee will be served next door in the Thompson room. Lunch will also be provided in the Thompson room at 12:15pm (Monday, Tuesday) and at 12:30 pm on the Wednesday Posters will be superintended by presenters on Monday & Tuesday 12:30 – 13:30 and also during coffee breaks (main poster discussion on Tuesday during lunch) After lunch on Tuesday Working Groups will meet (at 15:30). Two WG1 1+3 and WG 2 +4 are combined. Two rooms have been allocated –see notice board outside Merrison or contact Sue Waller. Talks should be either uploaded via the conference website -or given to the Scientific Secs or Plenary Chair or WG conveners. Safety exits are evident. Should there be a fire alarm –meet at the muster point outside

Overview Welcome to Daresbury Lab. and The Cockcroft Institute!
For any help with taxis etc please contact Sue Waller (when not at reception to be found here: or in room S26 on top floor). The meeting is scheduled to finish at lunch time on Wednesday (closeout by 12:30 followed by lunch). A Wednesday morning plenary session is scheduled and a summary of WGs will be the final session. Lunch included for all three days. The tour of VELA/CLARA will be on Monday at 15:50. Dr. Deepa Angal-Kalinin is in charge of all tours. Contact Deepa or registration desk for further details. Banquet attendees on Tuesday will take a bus from the Cockcroft at 17:45 back to the hotels for a quick drop-off of bags, and then off to Ruthin Castle in North Wales (arrive ~19:15). Student poster awards will be presented. Ruthin Castle is a medieval castle fortification in Wales in the Vale of Clwyd. It was constructed during the late 13th century by Dafydd ap Gruffydd, the brother of Prince Llywelyn ap Gruffudd. Also worth noting that Llywelyn ap Gruffydd was the last Prince of Wales ( ), before conquest by Edward I King of England

Planning Inaugural WS on VHEE–in what is anticipated to be a biennial series. Unique, in that this brings together national labs, Universities, and Industry, all under the umbrella of VHEE Radiotherapy Physics and Accelerator Physics.
