Lents farmers market wins 3-year grant

Fans of the Lents International Farmers Market, rejoice. The market, born last year at Crossroads Plaza, near Southeast 92nd Avenue and Foster Road, won a three-year grant to continue every Sunday from June through mid-October.
The $150,000 grant will keep the market going in a part of Portland starved for fresh, healthful food choices, says former market coordinator, Hilary DuBose.
The grant will cover a staff position and help produce information about the market in numerous languages, she says. A new coordinator hasn't been chosen.
