4 Why is the Liturgy of the Hours Important?
It is a commitment made by religious, deacons, priests and laity to pray this every day From the very beginning of the church, Christians gathered to celebrate the Messiah in song, stories, service, and breaking of the bread

1 Thesselonians 5:16‐18 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Colossians 4:2 2 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. Ephesians 6:18 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
