Severity DRGs – started in FY 2008
POA indicators– the need to capture that information in the medical record in order to assign the indicator appropriately.
ROM/SOI- measures that indicate the complexity of patient mix for hospital report cards & physician profiles
Quality indicators – all the information that is collected and available to consumers and insurers for Pay-4-Performance
RACs- the complex reviews entail detailed reviews of medical records to ensure that the information coded and billed is reflected in the documentation
