Hold camera still- tripod helps! Pre-focus on subject Look for natural movement

Pan Use shutter speed 1/60- 1/ 125
Move camera smoothly along with the subject Pre-focus on subject Subjects moving to the side work best (not toward/away from you)

Plan Ahead To increase your odds for success – shoot just two or three subjects. If you feel daring – choose different subjects but shoot multiple exposures of each type of motion. Don’t forget to focus FIRST! It is very difficult to focus on a moving subject! Be careful not to cut off heads/ limbs!
