12. Important Tips Proofread everything!
Use black ink if you are submitting paper applications.
If you are submitting the Common Application online, once you hit “submit” you cannot make changes.
Do not send in both the paper and online Common Applications!
Be aware of all deadlines.
Give teachers and counselors plenty of time to write your recommendations.
