Graphic Novels are not books!
Mrs. Woltman recommends the Caudill book Roller Girl by Victoria Jamieson Graphic Novels are not books! Or so I thought before Mrs. Fangman and Mrs. Buan made me read Roller Girl. Just like the main character in Roller Girl I tried something new and liked it! Astrid tries Roller Derby and isn’t very good, but she keeps trying until she can compete. I, too, tried something new by reading a Graphic Novel and discovered Graphic Novels are books that I love!!! Visit the LRC today to participate in the Thompson Reading Program!
