2 WHERE IS IT? Bahrein is an archipielago situated in the midle East, in the Persian Gulf; in the East of Saudi Arabia. It is between Africa and Asia.

3 RELIGION AND HISTORY There official religion is islamism In 1783, the Sunni Al-Khalifa family took power in Bahrain. In order to secure these holdings It entered some teatries with the uk in the ninth century but in 1971 they independent There official lenguages is arabic and its second is english. They speak Farsi and Urdu, too.

6 ECONOMY Low oil prices have generated a budget deficit of at least a $4 billion deficit in 2015 Oil comprises 86% of Bahraini budget revenue Other major economic activities are production of aluminum Bahrain's second biggest export after oil Bahrain continues to seek new natural gas supplies as feedstock to support its expanding petrochemical and aluminum industries.

7 COMMUNICATIONS They are used approximately million mobile phones nowadays. They have modern telephone systems. Bahrain Radio ans Televisio Coprporation (BRTC) operates 5 terrestrial TV networks and several radio stations. 93,5% of the population use internet.

8 CLIMATE TERRAIN TRANSPORTATION
In Bahrain, there are 4 airports, 1 heliport, roadways, pipelines of gas and maritime claims. CLIMATE The climate is arid, mild, with pleasant winters and very hot and humid summers. TERRAIN Mostly low desert plain, raising gently to low central escarpment.
