E-STAT – Same Series E-STAT ends at 1999
Statistics Canada ends at 2000 E-STAT is updated every summer so the number of series may differ from live CANSIM II. Right now the E-STAT site says 700,000 vs. Statistics Canada/CHASS at 1.2 million

CHASS & CANSIM In April 2000 Statistics Canada released CANSIM II - an enhanced view of the CANSIM database, containing more series (over 1.2 million) CANSIM 1 just one view – time, CANSIM II – multidimensional view CANSIM I - to which updates will be discontinued as of January 1, but retained for historical reasons

With the Current Defaults (Vector)
CHASS returns very large sets CHASS’ default to vector searching using “pattern” matching anywhere in the word can be useful for power searchers but may confuse novices by increase set size
