Log-in to Client Log-in page and access the SmartInstaller.
Download the following from the SmartInstaller:

Distech Controls EC-gfxProgram
Distech Controls EC-NET-AX Support Pack
In the Distech Controls Download folder on the C-drive, find the Distech Controls EC-NET-AX release folder and launch the Setup Wizard to install EC-NETAX on your laptop.

Once installed, from the Desktop, launch EC-NETAX and insert the License Key provided by your instructor. After your instructor has approved your 2-week training license, re-launch EC-NETAX.
In the Distech Controls Download folder on the C-drive, launch the Distech Controls EC-gfxProgram Setup Wizard, and install the EC-gfxProgram.
In the Distech Controls Download folder on the C-drive, launch the Distech Controls EC-NET AX Support Pack Setup Wizard, and install the Support Pack on your laptop.
Download the latest Distech lonworks.jar file from SmartSource and extract the lonworks.jar file into the Niagara release directory under the “modules” sub-folder.

Open an EC-NetAX platform connection (starts the platform daemon – niagarad) to your EC-BOS using its IP address.
Use the Commissioning Wizard (right-click on platform) to update all the software (modules and core), the license and the configurations of your EC-BOS.
Install the Distech Controls EC-NetAX Support Pack on your EC-BOS by using the Distribution File Installer.
Create and Copy a blank Station to your EC-BOS using the Station Copier and give it your name (first or last name).
Open an EC-NetAX station connection (Fox) to your EC- BOS (right-click command).
Add the Distech Controls palette to your palette tool bar.

When automatically installed using SmartInstaller, EC-gfxProgram and EC-NET-AX are downloaded and installed and can be accessed from the Windows START menu.

All executable download files are deposited in the Distech Controls Downloads folder under the C-drive.
These executable files can be used to manually download software that was not automatically installed using the SmartInstaller.

A Distech Controls Files folder is created and the Support Pack is installed as a distribution file (.dist) to be installed on the EC-BOS.
The Productivity Enhancing Tools are dropped into this same folder as a subfolder called “dcgfxApplications” to also be installed on the EC-BOS.
