Underage drinking is ILLEGAL and has consequences Drinking alcohol can be dangerous at ANY age You can hurt more than just yourself

Alcohol effects At first, a drinker may feel energetic or “buzzed”
Natural depressant, slows down the central nervous system Intoxication…inability to walk to unconsciousness Cannot absorb nutrients = malnutrition
