the advice we take is critical.

3. God determined that there was going to be a division in the kingdom.
This northern kingdom will be called Israel.
Jeroboam will be the king in the north
The southern kingdom will be called Judah.
Rehoboam will be king in the south

4. The series of kings who ruled over these two nations
All of the kings in the north were bad.
Most of the kings in the southern
kingdom are just as bad.

He listened to the wrong counselors.

He turned from God to idols!

8. Decisions have consequences!

long term consequences!
