Assessment in the Major (AIM)
Assessment of student learning outcomes related to program objectives Include direct and indirect measures Systematic effort and progress on improving student learning outcomes Faculty, department and college involvement is essential

Planning and Review Committee (PRC)
Standing committee of the Faculty Senate Conduct regular program reviews, at least x 4 years Documentation reviewed includes: Program self-study Surveys of students, key instructors, and advisory board Annual Program Metrics Strengths, areas for improvement, and four-year continuous improvement plan Faculty, department and college involvement is essential

Program Advisory Committee
Membership - Internal and external stakeholders: faculty and academic staff from across colleges, students, alumni and employers Function - Advises in development of curriculum and short- and long-range goals and projections for the program.

Program Accreditations
Provost’s Office keeps permanent files on accreditation. Forward copies of reports and correspondence for the official record in Image Stout.

Course Revisions Programs and Departments must consult each other regarding the revision of courses Course revisions impact programs and staffing A Course Impact Summary should be submitted as part of the course revision document Course Impact Summary is completed via Curriculog

Curriculum & Instruction Committee (CIC)
Review, develop and recommend new and/or modified curriculum policies Serve as an academic forum to discuss and act upon proposals for credit-producing learning experiences as well as academic programs Encourage a transdisciplinary approach to curriculum and instructional growth Promote academic excellence and educational opportunity and encourage the use of appropriate standards throughout the curriculum Please encourage participation on this committee

Degree Audit Substitutions and Waivers
Subs and waivers are documented via a web form The form should be authored by Advisors, Program Directors or Program Assistants (not the student) Rationale for any requests should be objective, clearly written, and include relevant curricular information Electronically reviewed and routed Stored in Image Stout with student records Web Form:
