Are you equally excited about the gospel (the good news) of Jesus?

The good news of Jesus is not for us to keep; it’s for us to share with others.

“I find that you grow more and more famous in a learned world, as you have made such progress in investigating the mysteries of electricity. I now humbly urge you to give diligent heed to the mystery of the new birth. It is a most important and interesting study, and when mastered, will richly repay you for your pains.” ~ George Whitfield

1 Corinthians 1:19-20 19 For it is written:
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”20 Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?

This term “lifted up” has a duel meaning:
To be crucified b. To be glorified and exalted

God loved. God Gave. We Believe. We Receive.

are God’s responsibilities
Loved and Gave are God’s responsibilities

Believing and Receiving are our responsibilities

God loved.

For God extremely and very greatly loved the world

For God extremely and very greatly loved the world that……it drove Him to action!

Do you think it’s possible that we think too highly of ourselves and too lowly of God?

“For God so loved the world…”

What God is telling us in this verse is that His love goes beyond Jews and gentiles. His love includes and extends to every tribe, nation and tongue, to those who don’t know Him, those who are evil and those who are God’s committed enemies.

1 Timothy 2:3-6a 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,

1 Timothy 2:3-6a 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.

“God’s love doesn’t overlook our sin or eradicate the reality of suffering eternal death and separation from God.” ~ Pastor Steven J. Cole

Church, the gospel begins and ends with God’s love and His love changes everything!
