Make a list of 3 images that you could make into a poem, as well as make a list of 3 TV shows/Movies/Books and their starring character and why you find him/her/it so amazing

Septolet (Create 2) The Septolet is a poem consisting of seven lines containing fourteen words with a break in between the two parts. Both parts deal with the same thought and create a picture. Deer standing Unaware of fate Munching on grass Content Oblivious Hunter aims carefully BOOM! Nervously Excitedly Gets down on one knee He hopes He prays She answers… “No.”

Clerihew (Create 2) A Clerihew is a comic verse consisting of two couplets and a specific rhyming scheme, aabb invented by Edmund Clerihew Bentley ( ) at the age of 16. The poem is about/deals with a person/character within the first rhyme. In most cases, the first line names a person, and the second line ends with something that rhymes with the name of the person. My favorite doctor is House. He’s single with no spouse The show is contagious Since his humor is bodacious. Nacho Libre is a wonderful caretaker To the children he is a friend and baker To wear stretchy pants is their goal His recreation clothes haunt my soul O dear Westley, the hero to Buttercup Went to defeat Rugen to tell him wuz up With the help of Fezzik, his giant friend This fairytale story did happily end

Pantoum (Create 1) The pantoum consists of a series of quatrains rhyming ABAB in which the second and fourth lines of a quatrain recur as the first and third lines in the succeeding quatrain; each quatrain introduces a new second rhyme as BCBC, CDCD. The first line of the series recurs as the last line of the closing quatrain, and third line of the poem recurs as the second line of the closing quatrain, rhyming ZAZA. The design is simple: Line 1 Line 2 Line 3 Line 4 Line 5 (repeat of line 2) Line 6 Line 7 (repeat of line 4) Line 8 Line 9 (repeat of line 6) Line 10 Line 11 (repeat of line 8) Line 12 Last stanza: Line 10 of previous stanza Line 3 of first stanza Line12 of previous stanza Line 1 of first stanza Creeper Love (No people were harmed in the creation of this poem) I can see you through the window You really do look good Loving you is all I know I should stop, I really should I could watch you all day I’m sorry, I can’t keep my feelings at bay You make my world complete I watch you by your window seat You make my life complete

Triquatrain (Create 1) It is a quatrain poem in tri-rhyme with a specific rhyming pattern (see below). Lines 1 and 3 have internal rhyme whereas lines 2 and 4 do not. Rhyme Pattern: (a,a) b (c,c) (d,d) e (f,f) Facing the Facts She waited for him, though his arrival looked dim It appeared he was really gone Just last night, they had a fight He always said she was his only one Dreams were shattered, she thought she mattered But I guess she always knew Never did he need, he was all about greed It’s obvious their love is through
