9 Prewriting: How do you pre-write? What works best?
Examples of graphic organizers and other prewriting methods?

10 Research Specific Organizers:
When writing a research paper, things must be organized with detail. Many outlines in RJ2 were too short. As a general rule, each page of an outline will equal a page of writing. You should have a 3-5 page outline.

11 1) Prewriting = Research:
Not ALL ideas do not come from your brain, as they do in creative writing. Your opinion and thoughts are supported by research in this style of writing.

12 2) Outlining/Drafting:
Your research journals assist with drafting. Your outline leads to a rough draft. Many need to add to their outline.

13 Outline Example: “A Study on Factors Affecting the Infant Feeding Practices of Mothers in Las Pinas City” Distributed: 28 February MLA Outline Example Distributed: 1 March These examples are not double spaced, so they appear to be shorter.
