4. John 5:17, 19-20
17 But He answered them, "My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working." 
19 Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner. 

5. 20 "For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and the Father will show Him greater works than these, so that you will marvel.

6. The truth of God’s Word has a way of pressing His people to see if they are willing to stake their lives on God’s Word.
Once God shows us truth He expects us to walk in it. We must put truth into action.
3 John 1:4 - I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth.

7. The Son Speaks to His Church
Jesus was constantly telling his disciples that He was hearing from the Father.
As a young boy he was busy with his Father’s business (Luke 2:49)

8. 3. At His baptism the Father affirmed His will, which was already being accomplished through his Son.
Luke 3:21-22
4. Throughout Jesus’ 3 ½ years of ministry, the Father guided Jesus always to do His will and to please Him. John 4:34 Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to accomplish His work.

9. John 17 Jesus’ High Priestly Prayer
In this prayer:
He affirmed that His relationship to His disciples as being the Father’s will.
John 17:6-8
Jesus calls his disciples friends because he has made known the Fathers will. John 15:15

10. This is why we pray.
Jeremiah 33:2-3
…I will tell you wondrous things that you do not know.
We don’t function according to creative reasoning but the word and will of God.

11. Jeremiah 29:8-14
You will seek me and you will find me when you seek me with your whole heart.

12. The Vital Role of Worship
Worship is our life blood.
We should experience change when we come into Gods presence and worship.
