Importance We choose this topic because we are interested at sound pollution. We have found out that it damages the nervous system of the people and animals. We have seen that in the cafeteria there is so much noise and it’s not comfortable to eat with all the noise because we get strong headches.

Concepts Definitions Sound Pollution:The sound pollution is an annoying harmful environmental noise produced by human activities. Noise: It is an unwanted sound. DB: It is a unit sound measure that registers the loudness of sound. Auditive System: It is the set of bodies that make the hearing in a living thing. Nervous System: It is a network of ectodermic tissues in animals whose basic unit is the neuron. School Cafeteria: a place where you can get food or eat your own food Rules: a principle or regulation governing conduct, action.

Does sound pollution affect our body? Why and How? Does it affect our character? Why and How? Why do most of the people not care about this situations? What type of diseases can this contamination produce? Can this cause the death of a human? Over how many DB can noise affect the human ear and what are the levels of sound that an ear can tolerate? When does sound pollution affect us and when does it not affect us? If you are eating. Can noise affect you?

Run? Enter disorganized to the cafeteria? Shout while you are eating? Drum or do noises with the tables while you are eating? Enter with balls to the cafeteria?

Cafeteria Rules Enter in order to the cafeteria.
Only accept the serving size you are going to eat. Arrive on time. Don´t shout. Be clean and tidy. Do not eat junk food. Do not enter with balls. Do not run. Cafeteria tables are not for doing homework. Leave clean the salad bar.

Actions We will paste posters in the cafeteria so people understand the rules. We will present the Cafeteria Rules in a PPT to the Elementary and Secondary students in the last assambly of the year. We will create bookmarks with the cafeteria rules. We will also see how many decibels there are in the cafeteria and publicate it. Put classical or environmental music in the cafeteria.

Reflections Environment Cafeteria Don’t use noisy objects.
Don’t beep the horn for nothing. Disscuss the the problem with the pollutant. Put your cellular in regular volume. Don´t shout, talk whisper while you are eating. Don´t run, walk slowly. Don´t bring the ball inside the cafeteria, leave them outside. Don´t drum or do noises with the tables. Eat and go out to play.
