Allows for a Blended Learning approach that helps prepare students with 21st Century learning skills.
Easy to maintain and service (IT).
Built in keyboard makes it easier for large research projects.
Classroom management (Hapara) to monitor but also share information.

3. Program’s growth Highlights so far:
Over 80% of staff reported they have used Google Classroom and Docs. While 83% of students reported that their subjects used GAFE sometimes or often. Contrasting the start of 2015, when about 20% of students reported that in every subject laptops/computers were used rarely or never.
In both Year 9 and 10, over 80% of students surveyed said it either was ‘useful’ or ‘it made a big difference’ to their education.
Students also reported that Chromebooks were being used to not only engage them but also work collaboratively and, in some cases, to provided easier feedback.
All staff have participated in multiple GAFE training sessions, while half have been trained in one on one professional learning teams. Nearly all have reported that they can use GAFE comfortably in class with their students.
