Building “OUR” Future Success

What Are Our Mentees Saying?
My mentor has given me studying tips. And help to space out my tests so that I am giving myself enough time to study Found mentoring useful for CPCU designation support, career advice and general professional networking. It is consistent with my expectations as I expected to meet seasoned members in the industry who may be able to broaden my understanding of the varying roles of insurance professionals in differing occupations. It is important to have someone to ask questions or get advice and/or study tips especially if you are under an independent study program I like being mentored as it serves as a sort of validator of my commitment and it offers an opportunity to share my successes with another professional
21
What Are Our Mentors Saying?
Confirming high quality and interest of coming generation in maintaining high level of ethics and insurance industry knowledge. For our relationship it was convenient as she works in my office and we were able to make it informal and to just discuss topics as they came up. She had a direct line of communication with me and felt comfortable coming to me with any questions. I typically enjoy feeling like I am having an impact on or a positive connection with my mentee, to be able to celebrate their successes, or help them navigate through disappointments. This is a great way to pay it forward to help others in our industry succeed. One challenge is that insurance professionals are busy people by default and the candidates need to make time to study the CPCU course work, so it’s important to provide positive input to the mentee through the mentoring relationship without encroaching on their valuable personal time.
