Colours of India India stands for its incredible culture, spectacular forts & places, great traditions and rituals. This so called "country of snake charmers and magicians" boasts of a great civilization. Be it the people, lifestyle or the mystical charm- India has always amazed the world with her uniqueness. Colours of India are incredible.

Rajasthan is a northern Indian state bordering Pakistan. Its palaces, culture, forts and its aesthetics inspires me for my art works.

The walls are covered with a plaster of clay, cow dung, and hay, making a termite-free facade that blends in with the sand of the countryside around it.

Locally available materials like clay and camel dung are applied on the walls, mostly freehand, by using palms and fingers, pinching and shaping the mixture.

The white clay comes from the sand of the marshland that is rich in salt content. Designs commonly depict peacocks, camels, temples, nature and female figures

In the history of Indian clothing the sari is traced back to the Indus Valley Civilisation, this is what inspires me that till date the tradition of wearing a saree has not changed with the flying time.

Holi is a spring festival, also known as the festival of colours or the festival of love. It is an ancient Hindu religious festival.

Anyone and everyone is fair game, friend or stranger, rich or poor, man or woman, children and elders. The frolic and fight with colours occurs in the open streets, open parks, outside temples and buildings. Groups carry drums and musical instruments, go from place to place, sing and dance. People visit family, friends and foes to throw colours on each other, laugh and chit-chat, then share Holi delicacies, food and drink

For me stain glass painting is an abstract art , the colours, technique inspire me for my work.
